Aviatrix Medallion is the title of the BHQG 2017 Raffle Quilt. It is based on a design by Elizabeth Hartman and was constructed by ten members of the guild. The quilt measures 79″ x 79″, with an intricately pieced top and excellent long arm quilting. Fabrics are high quality cottons, a thin cotton batt, and a cotton backing.
Makers of the quilt are Casey Cunningham, Nancy Andrew, Stephanie Strunge, Amy Krasnasky, Debbie Riley, Natalie Blum, Cathy Kleeman, Heather Harget, Susan Brightman, and Marty Vint. The long arm quilting was done by Marty Vint. The quilt has an appraised value of $1425.
The drawing for the BHQG 2017 Raffle Quilt was held on Sunday, March 19, 2017 during EXPO 2017.
