Meeting Information


The Guild meets on the 2 nd Tuesday of the month (September-June) at the Woodbrook Baptist Church.
The Church is located at 25 Stevenson Lane, Towson, MD 21204. The meeting room opens at 6pm for
members who want to Sit & Sew or just socialize. The meeting starts at 7pm.

All meetings are available to members over Zoom. The link to the meeting comes in an Email to all
members prior to the meeting, zoom access opens at 6:45pm.

Most meetings begin with a lecture, lectures are presented by national and international experts in quilting and other areas of interest to quilters. Presenters are either in person or over Zoom. Standard agenda for the remainder of the meeting: discussion of Guild business followed by Show and Tell where members share their finished quilts or other sewing projects to share with the group.

February 11, 2025

Cristina Arcenegui Bono

Tuesday, February 11, 2025, Cristina will be presenting her lecture, Unleashing Your
Creativity Through AI
. She will be joining us via Zoom from her home in Sevilla, Spain.
Cristina has been quilting since 1999. Her signature quilts are pictorial whole cloths, she
converts illustrations into whimsical whole cloth quilts. Cristina travels within Spain and
North America teaching and winning awards at national and international quilt shows.

Fall 2024 issue.

March 11, 2025

Tina Craig

Tuesday, March 11, 2025, Tina Craig will be joining us in person to present her lecture – EPP vs. FPP: The Showdown. Tina has been quilting for over 30 years; she specializes in Paper Piecing and English Paper Piecing and domestic machine quilting. She has won awards both locally and nationally. In addition to presenting to guilds Tina has taught at MAQ, Houston International Quilt Festival, and Quiltfest Virtual Schoolhouse. Check out Quiltfolk issue 25 Rhode Island, Tina was a featured quilter.

The following day, March 12th Tina will lead a full day workshop – EPP Design Party. Details below.

EPP Design Party Workshop with Tina Craig
Wednesday, March 12, 2025
9 am – 3:30 pm

Learn the basics of English Paper Piecing and go home with a project that is uniquely yours. We will be working with shapes based on 60° angles: hexagons, diamonds, jewels, triangles and more. This is the fun side of geometry! Enjoy fussy cutting with Tina’s EPP tool, The Wonder Window. Suitable for beginners, this class will also engage experienced hand stitchers.

No Sewing Machines needed.

$35.00 for Guild Members

This includes $10.00 fee for the cost of the kit. The kit includes printed handouts and template pages.
