Guest Quilter Dee Bushrod
Welcome to our New Venue!
We were so excited to have had our EXPO 2023 at a new and exciting venue – The Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium! We had more than 300 quilts on display, many vendors, demos and tours, our Silent Auction – Buy It or Bid, Stash to Treasure where you could snag fabric and other quilt related items for ridiculously low prices, our Community Service booth where we shared our projects, our Members’ Boutique, raffle baskets, sewing machine raffle, quilt appraisals, and our 2023 Raffle Quilt shown here below.
Admission was $12 at the door. Children 12 and under free when accompanied by an adult.
EXPO 2023 is now just a memory and we are more than thrilled with its success! Already looking forward to EXPO 2025!

Viewers’ Choice Quilts
Visitors to EXPO had the opportunity to vote for their 3 favorite quilts. After tallying up the votes, we ended up with 4 quilts that received just about the same number of votes. Here they are.

Our raffle quilt is called the Maryland Heritage Quilt and is 85″x106.”

Our Featured Quilters, Carol Ann Frost and Alice Magorian, have been selected by the Guild to showcase quilts they have made over the years. They will be giving talks on their works, methods, and inspirations.

Guest Quilter Devida Bushrod
For the first time our Expo will include a guest quilter, Devida Bushrod! Devida (Dee) has gained international attention for her pixel quilts. She created a quilt last year to celebrate the Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The pixel image of the Queen’s coronation was accepted as a gift by the Queen. Dee then created a replica quilt as a keepsake and included the letter from the Queen’s Lady in Waiting on the back. It is this replica quilt that Dee will be exhibiting at EXPO 2023.
