Thank you to all the volunteers who made EXPO 2019 such a success. In spite of all the things that went wrong we had a terrific turnout and it was a fantastic show.

Do You See What I See?
Which elephant do you see? Whether it is global warming, terrorism, the deficit, or racism, your neighbor may not see it the same way you do. Life experiences can be enough to put us on opposite sides of the quilt. With public discourse often reduced to soundbyte-slinging, it is no wonder that our “facts” separate us into factions. Would we rather govern ourselves with the myopic fury of the Queen of Hearts, or the compassionate imagination of the Little Prince? Maybe we should walk around to our neighbors’ viewpoint and give it a good look before we talk about the elephant in the room.
